Batch Reporting
If you want to run a Yoshikoder dictionary over a large number of documents more quickly than the Yoshikoder would do it, you can now use the new version of JFreq. Plus you get stemming, stopword removal and other preprocessing steps too, if you want them. Just drag your documents into the window, upload your saved dictionary (not project), select your preprocessing options, pick an output file, and press Run.

Dear Will,
I’m sorry to contact you this way, but I couldn’t find a forum or anything like that for my question.
I am a MA-student and I am trying to use Yoshikoder for the first time to conduct a content analysis on Chinese newspaper articles.
However, I encountered a strange problem: when I use the word frequency count option, Yoshikoder generates a smaller frequency number for certain words than the word count in Microsoft Word. For example, Yoshikoder counts the word 新疆 127 times, while Word counts 154. I use the same document, except that I had to convert the one I use in Yoshikoder to UTF-8 first. I thought it might be a problem of language, but I encountered the same problem when using an English language document. I believe the Word word count is correct. Can you help me with this problem?
Please contact me through email.
Thanks in advance.
With kind regards,
Sandra
